a touch of seattle...

the past weekend was a whirlwind of friends, family and love. i cannot express how much fun and joy i had, visiting with friends (holla to the Kings crowd...all hale King Buckley!)..chatting with les over a bowl of grapes at 1am...a long afternoon in the park with my niece (lily's observation: "look! that girl is wearing a headband!")...a wonderful dinner at tavolotta with jennifer and the rents...eleanor's exclamation at 7 in the morning "i like chocolate"...the frantic hugs from meliss before michelle's wedding...the best darn egg burrito i've ever had (thank you joanna)..after a night of Hop Diggity (thank you carter)...congrats to michelle and chris..a wonderful and touching wedding...

needless to say, i am sad to be back, sans mark (he flies back tomorrow, thank god)...and after a night of a few too many chardonnays...a broken guitar string...i'm just thinking about how lucky i am to have all of you...you are all in my thoughts..
