pumpkin harvest...

Picking up 'big pumpy' (i would guess about 25 pounds.)

Harvesting 'pumpy' the shy pumpkin (likes to hide behind the garbage can)

alot of you have been asking for a pumpkin update...(which not only makes me laugh, but makes me feel very proud of my lil pumpkins..they're famous..famously delicious!!)

anyways..when mom and dad were in town, i 'harvested' the two pumpkins..which now await to be carved (one for halloween and one for pumpkin soup)

fall is definitely underway here in the burgh...and chances of snow flurries are likely today..time to bust out the facemask. :(

You little farmer you! Rick and Lora Lea would be so proud. I like the shy one that hides behind garbage cans. It makes me wish that I had grown pumpkins instead of acorn squash. What some acorn squash? No, really? Are you sure? I have LOTS. Don't be surprised if one shows up on your front stoop, maybe in a butternut squash costume. Then someone might eat it.
