fun at AIR...

AIR (Artist Image Resource) the studio where i do my silkscreening has now expanded their open studio times to tuesday AND thursday! hooray! i needed to make a thank you card, after having a cool interview at Wall-to-Wall, so after finding some neat drawings from Mark's old lifeguard training manual, i headed over to the North Side and had a successful evening at the studio...yes, the woman saying thank you is on the bottom of a swimming pool, but i still think its kinda funny. I ended up sending a thankyou card with just the snorkel guy; didn't want to creep the guy out just yet.

Dude, I'll take one with the woman passed out. Hilarious and tragically hip. A favorite combination!

Is she dead? Or just sleeping? Or maybe she just had too much to drink? I mean, she IS talking right - so she's not dead. Because that would be creepy. Well, it's a little creepy anyway. Cool, but creepy.

she's actually lying on the bottom of a swimming pool...it was the section from mark's lifeguard training manual, about pool rescues. she's saying thank you to the guy swimming above her..but you're right..a little creepy. i'm glad i went with just the scuba guy for the thank you card.
