silkscreening the scary poster...

Thought i would post the actual screenprinted poster, that turned out..well..sort of bad. I hit some snags with pulling a color for 17"..too much ink? not enough? too fast of a pull? too much angle? not sure...then lining up the red type, proved to be nearly impossible, since i was printing on top of black and couldn't see if my screen was in the right place...

but even though it isn't perfect, i still can't get over how cool screenprinted stuff is. i just love it. the texture. the 'each one is different' thing...hopefully The Jilted Brides don't mind. i'm sure Warhol would have been proud at my attempt, at any rate.
